ORIGINAL ERROL FLYNN TUNIC (1936)
Screen-worn Tunic from Oscar winning classic "The Charge of the Light Brigade" starring Errol Flynn, and Olivia de Havilland. This was the second of eight films Errol Flynn and Olivia de Havilland starred together in. This tunic is clearly visible in the lengthy opening scene while Errol's on horseback,
The current condition of this piece is assessed as excellent, and with no restoration required. I'm including several screen-captures for reference, and authenticity purposes, and although the Western Costume Label is blank (which isn't uncommon with original Western Costume pieces), if you look carefully, you'll notice the word "Flynn" has been crossed-out in ink on the tunic's inside, but the first name is unreadable. The name "Le Palma" also appears below it in green. It's important to note a "Western Costume" stamp is also on the inside left sleeve.
Also, if you look closely you'll notice a count of 10 gold buttons matching the provided screen-shots down the tunic's front (and two other original tunics Errol wore in the film have 8 and 12 buttons). Further verification of authenticity is it's Errol's exact same measurements - and happy to verify, but if you have further questions regarding provenance, or anything else, please contact me directly.
